Who says the La Gomera says uncontaminated nature. With its forests, cliffs, the incredible capes and the limitless valleys of banana trees, this island is a true paradise. La Playa de Alojera is one of the most beautiful places, spectacular seashores, cliffs, full of rocks with its black sand and the natural pools due to the volcanic origin of the archipelago is not only a perfect place to relax but also the ideal scene for photographies from dream.
The Nature
The National Park of the Garajonay, declared from the Unesco world-wide patrimony, is sure stop fo who anyone decides to visit the Island of the Gomera. Anywhere you look is impossible not to remain fascinated from the surrounding splendor. Such as Great Rey Goes where you’ll find the most biggest seashore of the Island, and Los Organos, a reef generated by the erosion volcanic eruption.
History and Culture
Unfortunately this place is not appreciated from the tourists because its doesn’t have a lot of opportunities to fun have by night. La Gomera is instead a real treasure of folclore and history: here the ancient customs are still alive, and the numerous traditional festivities are a fascinating demonstration. And thus as present and passed they are skillfully lived in the daily gestures, also in the gastronomies mix of coming ingredients from differents places that gives that touch of esotism that remembers how much the Canaria Islands represents the encounter between two worlds and two various cultures.

 Shopping at Gomera: its possible!
The campaign “shopping to the Gomera” undertaken this past durning the Christmas period, will probably come reproposed in this still sour 2009. The slogan “This Christmas shop at Gomera” has obtained the wished reply and the politicians are very satisfied of the caught up result. Stores, public companies and private have promoted plans, ideas to encourage the local population to spend their money in their native place, without foing otherwhere else. The campaign gave its results: 1.2 million euro.
One of the points of force of the initiative hav been the instant lottery tickets. They where given to the customers when they would spend more than 30€ , you can win lunches or suppers in beautiful restaurants or a weekwnd blots of it new and weekends in beautiful places.
The objective of this idea is demonstrate that Gomera is in a position of offering all you need. Only new in this rose-colored atmosphere? The critics accuse the councilmen in charge to preach well but not to give a correct example: going to make elsewhere shopping!
